How to Make Your Own Monopod

cheap monopod

What do you think about an $11 Monopod? Is it worth it? I know I’ve payed for mine $50 and it’s just a simple Monopod from Giottos. So? It sounds ok? The price is fair? Well let’s see how you can do it yourself for only $11.

c4l3b has tried this out and he came up with the monopod in the imagine

So, you will need 2 pipes, 1 joiner, 2 end caps, 1 1/4 inch bolt, long enough to go through an end cap and thread into the camera. 3 nuts to secure the bolt, 1 huge washer to help steady the camera when connected.

Nikon BR-2A 52mm Lens Reversing Ring

The BR-2A enables you to mount 52mm front thread lens in reverse on the PB-6 and Nikon Cameras. This increases magnification and working distance. I’ve used this ring with 2 lenses, the 50mm f1.8 and 35-75mm f3.3-f4.5 on Nikon D50. Here are some of the photos I have taken using the BR-2A 52mm Lens Reversing Ring.
