			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Do you remember the book “<a href="http://www.mariasphoto.com/2007/06/07/what-the-world-eats/"><strong>Hungry Planet</strong></a>” by by Peter Menzel?<br />
Today I present you a similar project to the one above. </p>
<p><a href="http://jonhuck.com/breakfast/index.htm"><strong>Breakfast</strong></a> by <strong>Joh Huck</strong>, is a collection of photos of what people eat for breakfast. I like this project because I found it being close to everyday life. I like the fact that Joh Huck has put together portraits of people with what they usually have for breakfast. </p>

<p>Here is a short interview with Joh Huck: <span id="more-1193"></span></p>
<p><strong>Maria</strong>: How did you come up with the idea of photographing people and what they have for breakfast?<br />
<strong>Joh Huck</strong>: <em>I am very curious about people &#8211; especially their private rituals that no one else gets to see.<br />
Breakfast is something that is so ordinary to the person having it but can be really fascinating to outsiders.</em></p>
<p><strong>Maria</strong>: How long took you to take all the photos included in this project?<br />
<strong>Joh Huck</strong>: <em>I think I spent about a year shooting it.</em></p>
<p><strong>Maria</strong>: Tell us something about yourself.<br />
<strong>Joh Huck</strong>: <em>I am a musician primarily but I’ve always done photography. In the past 5 years or so I’ve been moving more into the visual arts.</em></p>
