I’m not a Drew Barrymore fan, but that doesn’t make me deny the fact that she is a beautiful woman or she can be when photographed by a well know photographer.

Vogue Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland

This is an old story published in December 2003 issue of Vogue. But since is about photography I thought I remember you about it.

Back in 2003 Vogue published a photography editorial featuring Natalia Vadianova a beautiful young model as Alice from the well know story of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.

Annie Leibovitz’s was the amazing photographer that took the photographs of a cast drawn from fashion’s own often fantastical universe.

Other famous stars that took part of this project were: Tom Ford as the White Rabbit, Donatella Versace as Gryphon, Rupert Everett as Mock Turtle and Jean Paul Gaultier as Cheshire Cat.

US Soldier in Afghanistan – Release the Anger

Tim Hetherington captured this moment on a photograph which express in all the emotions and feelings a soldier could have when fighting for peace and freedom. This is about a soldier that found a way to release his anger so he marked all his grenades with words that symbolize his pain and what he is fighting for.

Scarlett Johansson and Natalie Portman Poses for WMagazine

Steven Klein, WMagazine’s photographer managed to take some great photographs of the two rival sisters from the upcoming movie “The Other Boleyn Girl”.
I like how the photos came up the only photo that disturbs my peace is the one with Scarlet that looks like a broken doll next to her Chihuahua, and I guess is because of the Chihuahua.

Freddy Olympic Games Ad Campaign

The Olympic Games from Beijing are not far away. Here are some photos from an ad campaign for Freddy (the official sponsor and supplier for Italy’s Team). The photographer is Lorenzo Vitturi and the Advertising Agency is called 1861 United.

I found the idea and the way they did the ads quite interesting but I don’t get why they chose to use tools and dishes for the last 2 photos.

Vanity Fair: Recreating Hitchcock

Art Streiber, Norman Jean Roy, Julian Broad and Mark Seliger are those photographers that recreated the world of Hitchcock for Vanity Fair.
Every photograph represents one of the Hitchcock movie posters.
Charlize Theron, Seth Rogen and Keira Knightley are just a few of those stars that took part in this project. I believe the photographs speak for themselves so there is no need for me to comment on them.
